Upcoming ICIT Conference

Next week staff from the Iowa GIS Service Bureau will present at the Iowa Counties Information Technology (ICIT) Mid-Year Conference.  With members representing different counties from around the state, ICIT is an organization that promotes professionalism and cooperation in the information technology realm of county government.

The conference begins Wednesday June 13th and ends Friday the 15th.  The first GIS Service Bureau presentation is Thursday at 10 am, focusing on current statewide GIS efforts and the benefits of cooperation.  The second presentation is Thursday afternoon at 1:45 pm.  It will go over metadata editing tools and the Iowa Geospatial Data Clearinghouse.
